Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to issue him his certificate of
return as Senator-Elect for the Imo West Senatorial district election.

Recall that Okorocha had a couple of days said the
electoral umpire was planning a “special ceremony” to issue him certificate of
return after it presented certificates of return to elected federal lawmakers
and he was not among.

INEC had refused to issue Okorocha his certificate of
return after it alleged that the governor influenced the Resident Electoral
Commissioner, REC by making him to declare a winner “under duress”

The Commission also stressed that no candidate including
Okorocha will be given certificate of return.

Okorocha while begging INEC to do the needful during a

cannot fathom why INEC will chose to deny him his certificate of return due to
