Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa has sent a heart-warming message to his wife, Edith, as they celebrate their 35 years in wedlock.

Okowa said he was most thankful to God for the decision he took 35 years ago to spend the rest of his life with his wife.
In a terse post on his official facebook wall on Monday morning, the Delta governor also thanked his wife for what he referred to as “35 amazing years that have been full of love, light, laughter, and of course, four beautiful children.”

According to him, he will always repeat the vow of “I do” for her.

My darling Edith,
35-years ago, before God and our family and friends, I said: “I do” to you.
35-years later, every morning when I wake up, I thank our Almighty God for the best and most significant decision that I have ever made.
As we celebrate this milestone together, my darling, I thank you for 35 amazing years that have been full of love, light, laughter, and of course, four beautiful children.
For you, I will always say: “I do.”
