The remains of Deborah Yakubu, who was lynched and burnt by a mob at the Shehu Shagari College of Education, on Thursday over allegations of blasphemy, were laid to rest to rest on Saturday.
She was laid to rest in her hometown Tungan Magajiya in Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State.
A brief ceremony was conducted in the presence of her family and church members
Recall that two persons from the mob who killed Deborah, were arrested by the state police command.
The institution was also shut down as a result of the barbaric incident.
However, protests broke out on Saturday in Sokoto, demanding for the release of the two suspects, forcing the state government to declare curfew in the state.
