The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has sacked Elisha Abbo as Senator representing Adamawa North District in the senate.
The court delivered the judgement on Monday.
The appellate court, therefore, declared the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amos Yohanna as the winner of the senatorial election.
Elisha was first elected senator under the platform of the PDP in 2019, but he defected to APC before the 2023 general election.
