The FCT police command has rescued another kidnapped victim, Suleiman Sabo from kidnappers in Sauka, along Airport Road, Abuja.
The kidnapped victim was rescued by police operatives attached to Iddo Divisional Headquarters on Sunday, January 21st, 2023.
This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Spokesperson of the police command, SP Josephine Adeh on Sunday evening.
According to the statement, in the rescue operation, a 32-year-old suspect, Muhammad Abel from Kogi state was equally apprehended and one (1) LAR rifle with ten (10) rounds of life ammunition were recovered from him.
The statement further disclosed that the victim who sustained some injuries from the kidnappers, is currently receiving medical attention, and would be reunited with his family once certified fit by the medical team.
The FCT police commissioner, CP Haruna Garba, according to the statement, restated the command’s commitment to rid FCT of criminality in all its manifestations and maintenance of peace for all and sundry.

There have been increasing cases of kidnappings in FCT in the last few weeks.
Earlier this month, kidnappers targeted Sagwari Estate Layout in Dutse, Bwari Area Council of the territory, and abducted no fewer than 10 persons.
The situation took a tragic turn a few days later when it emerged that the kidnappers had killed two of the victims.
The abductors, who earlier demanded N60 million ransom, increased it to N100 million and later N700 million.
