Abuja, the nation’s capital, has continued to experience kidnappers, bandits, and terrorist attacks in recent times.
The most recent of such acts of criminality was the kidnapping of six female children of the Al-Kadriyar family in the Bwari area of the city on January 9th, 2024 alongside their father.
The father was, however, released to go and look for the ransom of N60 million for his daughters.
A few days later, the hoodlums killed the oldest of the six girls, Nabeeha, and dumped her body somewhere for her parents to bury following the failure of her family to raise the ransom within the stipulated time.
The remaining five girls were released after a few days following the reported payment of a ransom.
